So does that mean my blue switch RGB K70 is now a rare item? Might get a pretty penny for it on ebay :P

I love my K70 RGB :)

I cry of hapinnes every time it gets dark and I get to witness the beauty in front of me.

However I might buy some transparent/translucent switches to enhance the experience :D

That's stupid, blues are great.

Thats a very simplistic way on commenting on a marketing decision. If you get almost no profit out of a product line up and it causes you trouble because you can't find enough mx blue switches, why would you continue selling those

A good rule of thumb is not to quote posts that are over 2 weeks old.

Says independent testing.

U wot m8? Independent testing is more trustable than in-house... Especially since it does them no benefit to say 'hey, good switch'...

Also, don't forget that razer is famous for QC issues.

Razer is no better or worse than any of them. Since they market to gamers and gamers bitch, more negative reviews get written. I've never had a problem with any Razer gear be it mice or keyboard.

Independent testing giving hard numbers is reliable. When there's no marketing and it's all raw numbers, it's objective and fair assuming the experiment was done properly to account for as many variables as possible.

Not enough demand?

I sat on my ass waiting for Amazon to stock them directly, in a price that wasn't inflated by 40%.

Screw them then. Anyone else have a RGB or even single LED recommendation that comes in blues?

I believe what they mean here is that the manufacturing yeilds on the special RGB compatible MX Blue switches are too low, thus costing too much for Corsair to resonably continue to produce the product.

just bet browns. You get the same feel as blues but allot less noise. mx blues are too loud imo. Its probably why they discontinued them. That or more people where buying browns or reds compared to the mx blues.

  • 2 weeks later...

EVERYONE, on a recent check of the Corsair Gaming website, they have the K70 and K95 RGB keyboards in BLUE switches! When you go to them, you can add them to your cart and they say coming soon. Just about a month ago i checked and they were no where to be found on the Corsair Gaming website. I believe that Corsair is reproducing the RGB K70/95 in Blues. Thank god.

*hugs my K70 MX Blue*

I used to have a Brown one as well but the more clicky blues - both for gaming and typing - is just sooooo satisfying.
