I would still avoid pre-builts even if they were the same price with the same components, because building my own I get a 3 year warranty on every part. Prebuilts are made with OEM parts that don't come with warranties.

Ncix does prebuilts?

They have the builds, a new one every 1-2 weeks a think. The cost for building the parts is $50 + the cost of the components. NCIX also price matches those parts, so you are getting a pretty good value. It is between building it yourself and getting a true "prebuilt".

If I were to have someone else build it for me, I'd go with Puget, DigitalStorm or OriginPC.

You should make a new one for the Alienware Area 51

I actually will be doing a 2.0/2015 version starting in the next few days  :)  It will have all of the old models and also the new ones including the steam machine, alienware 13, and area 51. I will be comparing to custom, ncix build, and cyberpowerpc build this time.

I have heard good things about Puget Systems

I think puget seems to be more expensive then most prebuilts
