Triple Monitor Usefulness? A (small) Nvidia surround review/opinions

xToFxREAPER

It would be awkward having a split point in the middle.

I think 3 in one row would be my limit.

see i went from one to two. then to three and what i found was three was awkward because of the count. im strange i guess. but with four i had the start menu/taskbar on the second monitor counting from the left.. and i liked that, maybe the reason why i put four monitors on one row again...

my problem is I dont want to use 1080p

and there is no way I can afford triple 1440p monitors and the will run like shit anyway so for the monent I am stuck at 27" 1440p single monitor, tempted by ultrawide, but lack of support puts me off

Most of your issues are solved in the AMD implementation called Eyefinity. This is why I always suggest AMD for 3 monitor setups.

Last week my third monitor's PSU blew up so I'm using only one monitor now (I hate using just two) and I was doing just fine in bf4 with an overclocked 970 paired with an i5 2400 non K -overclocked to 3.8 Ghz-

I use triple portrait though. Triple portrait definitely increased my KD and made every game I played feel much larger than triple landscape ever did.

If you've never tried out triple portrait, try it out. It's really awesome; and in my opinion, it's the best way to use a computer.

I have indeed tried it, I did enjoy it but i find i personally prefer the landscape layout.
