Was looking at purchasing a gtx 970 within in a couple days and was pretty sold on the gigabyte gtx 970 g1 gaming but came across the Galax gtx 970 HOF.

Which one would you guys go for in respect of:

Looks

Overclock-ability

Cooling ability/efficiency

And whatever else you feel is worth mentioning

Thx :) I keep second guessing on what to purchase.

why though?

Because its a binned chip, which will give you higher performance and (on average) better overclocks than a non-binned chip.

I believe it is, but I also believe the Gigabyte has a better power delivery system allowing it to be overclocked further (although the Galaxy is clocked higher by default).

Looks: G1, the HOF card is an odd looker.

Overclock-ability: no contest, HOF card.

Cooling: IMO the HOF card. Cos your HOF card will be doing 1480-1500MHz most of the time.
