So as of the 34.0.5 update, Firefox has been blocking plugins that it deems "dangerous", because they're not updated or whatever. Problem is, I've checked all the relevant plugins and they're all up to date but Firefox keeps blocking them, no matter how many times I click "Allow and Remember".

I mean, Jesus Christ, it even blocks "Adobe Flash" from running on this damn website! Does LTT even use Adobe Flash!?

This happens all the time on YouTube, the site I frequent the most.

Is there any way to turn this off? It's driving me insane! Ok, maybe not insane, but you get my point.

I am not getting that problem.

Can you give me a link where this happens, as I am not seeing it.

What do you mean "a link"? I've tried googling the problem but couldn't find anything really. Have you updated to 34.0.5?

Firstly this was intentional as the older version of Flash has been exploited (Yes I know, it has been many times in the past) but this was big. So firefox disabled the old plugins (you can just enable it back from the setting) as adobe told them its a major risk and its best if they get the users to update it.

So in other words firefox was doing you a favour. Currently Flash has many exploits that adobe is trying to overcome.

Maybe if you read and try to see what the problem is about you could of found out. Next time try to find out before posting, its a good learning experiance.

Slick:

I don't care if you are right or wrong... someone will come around and correct you if you are wrong. What people need to realize is that we need to step up as a community and get above the pathetic fights and bickering. Share knowledge, be friendly, enjoy your stay.

He also forgot to mention if you dont know about the topic then dont make stuff up. Dont claim fake or assume things just by reading the title, Read the post. It doesnt matter if you made 3,000 as it could be mostly crap...

And, mind you, you didn't read my post properly because everything is up to date, so it shouldn't be happening.

I suggest reinstalling Flash Player.

Flash uninstallers:

Win: http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/uninstall-flash-player-windows.html

Mac: http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/uninstall-flash-player-mac-os.html

And here's a link to the offline installers (no McAfee option):

http://www.adobe.com/nz/products/flashplayer/distribution3.html
