Go to solution Solved by the jolly roger,

Hey guys! again with some knowlage to get!

is a i5-4690k good for straming 1080p videos at 60 fps?

I'm planing to use OBS and stream games like csgo bf4 and other!

if you use intel quicksync, it will steam better than an 8 core FX cpu

It's fine (I think OBS has QuickSync)

According to Logan from Teksyndicate though, the FX-8350 is better for your application.

EDIT: Ouch, ninja'd by a matter of single-digit seconds

Compatible with Windows 95

I'm using an i5-4670k and I have no problems streaming. What video card are you using?

It would be OK. A 8350 would be a better option though. :)

I have that processor and streamed Shadow of Mordor at 720p/60FPS just fine before (game was running in 1080p, but the stream was being downscaled to 720p in OBS because my Internet is slow-ish). So yeah, it's good for streaming.

Use QuickSync. I use it on my G3258, but it has some issues with audio latency. But, the iGPU on my Pentium is considerably weaker than the one on the i5.
