NVIDIA has nothing that beats 270x for the same price ... maybe GTX 760 but then you can afford R9 280 which beats it.

I found a place where they sell 280 cheaper but the specs were worse than the toxic one so i wonder what is the diff between them

I didn't know what to put here...

How possibly could be specs on 280 worse than on 270x? If you mean clocks (frequency in MHz) that is not a factor. You can compare card performance in MHz if you compare two of the same. 280 has a lot more stream processors, ROPs and tesselation. It will wipe floor with 270x.

Thats an awful website to use.

Just type in "GPU XXXX" Benchmarks and it will show you real game performance.

No matter how you slice it, the R9 280 is much better than the R9 270X.  Buy the 280 with confidence.

The 280 chip is a slightly cut down 280x.

It has more bandwidth and memory than the 270x. Which means it can better handle the current gen of memory hungry games.

Also when overclocked it performs like a stock 280x, which the 270x cannot reach...

The ONLY GPU comparison site worth reading is Anantech

270x VS 280 (check other GPU's too if you want)

http://www.anandtech.com/bench/product/1043?vs=1332

Maximums - Asus Z97-K /w i5 4690 Bclk @106.9Mhz * x39 = 4.17Ghz, 8GB of 2600Mhz DDR3,.. Gigabyte GTX970 G1-Gaming @ 1550Mhz
