I have 2 intel i486 dx2 cpus thati pulled out 2 packer bell legions. I was just about to scrap them for gold but the date is 89 on it so it may be collectible. What is it worth?

I don't think an old chip from the late 80's has much value. To see value in old hardware, you're looking at more complete machines. Think of old Apple and IBM type units that people collect.

I don't really have a use for one right now, but of course I want one. My Pentium collection is almost done, and I would like to get some older stuff as well.

I knew these wouldn't be worth more than roughly 10-20 dollars a chip judging ebay prices. However if you're @tmcclelland455 then stuff like this can be used to help someone build up their collection of old chips.
