i7 has no advantage in gaming over i5. So buy a 3570k or 8350. Both are great, but amd is alot cheaper.

He said he may edit videos, i7 will help and with games like battlefield, i7 did have a edge on i5s

Yes and they draw more power but they are good cpus

Why dont you like i5s? they are great

Mainly Gaming but i May do video editing later

You will have no need for socket 2011 unless you are really editing some major stuff. and you can only overclock k series processors Get a 3770k or 4770k,

i5 3570 | MSI GD-65 Gaming | OCZ Vertex 60gb ssd | WD Green 1TB HDD | NZXT Phantom | TP-Link Wifi card | H100 | 5850

There is no big differance between the 2, you will not notice except you have a beast video card.

Either go for 8350 or go full balls to the walls and get the 3930k and never get a cpu bottleneck again. ( tho expensive )

U must be new here lol just for next time or even u can now but u should post this in build logs or build planning u will probably get a better expierience with your overall responses as more people will help and it's made for questions like this. IMO u should get a 4770k as 3930k would most Likley be overkill for anything u are editing and it's better for gaming than 3820 plus u get lower power consumption and get all the latest features like 6 native sata 3 ports.

This shouldn't be in the Tech News & Reviews section, would be great if a mod could move this!

Yeah, wrong section, should be in CPU, Motherboard and memory section.

Also, just like they said, since you're going with dual 7950s FX 8350 or i5-4670K (i5-3570K is about as good if you can get a really good deal on it) are the best choices. 8320 is kind of a waste if going for a 2011 build anyway.

I mean that the 3930k is just too much CPU that will ever be used for just gaming.
