What is a good gaming headset under a hundred $100?

CaptainKoda

Logitech G430s are pretty good. Surround 7.1 and pretty comfy.

Except the 7.1 surround on it is horrible. Save your money and get the G230.

Hyper X Cloud is good as a gaming headset, but a better buy is an open-style headset like the Superlux 668B and attach a mic to it.

Tek Syndicate did just that

HyperX Cloud is a good choice. I personally use the old Razer Carcharias. Not the new one with green LEDs, Xbox compatibility, and USB power plug. The new one has static buzz noise, the old one doesn't. I don't know what you like, there are a lot of good ones out there. It's up to you. ;)

Hyper X cloud is good, but I have the vengeance 2100. Love them, but sometimes it pinches my ears

Siberia V2, Hyper X cloud or Qpad QH-90 would be good choices.

I really like my Siberia v2s for gaming. They're rubbish for music but I'm OK with that.

While I agree with the: "Get a good pair of headphones and a clip-on mic. or a ModMic", it's not always what people are looking for.

I would say the HyperX Cloud's and the Corsair Vengeance 1400's. I've heard some good stuff about the G35's too, but I personally don't like the material nor the sahpe and looks.
