HP Pavilion dv 6 screan doesnt work

Hey guys, my sister laptop screan had started giving us a hard time - somtimes when we would turn it on everything would have worked fine (you hear all the starting sounds of windows) exept the screan (pictures included). now it does that all the time, i dont have a clue what to do about it..

Its probably flat cable... You should give it for repair.

i think the screen is broken..? i don't know, if its not broken then the cable that connects the display to the motherboard must've gotten disconnected somehow

Hmm...weird. My first guess would be an obvious one. The graphics card could be, if it isn't already, on the way out.

ON A 7 MONTH BREAK FROM THESE LTT FORUMS. WILL BE BACK ON NOVEMBER 5th.

Hmm...weird. My first guess would be an obvious one. The graphics card could be, if it isn't already, on the way out.

No Nvidia or AMD sticker on the laptop = iGPU. 

 

My guess is that the cable connecting the mobo to the display came loose. 

If you can, try opening up the laptop.

Actualy the sticker came off (AMD Graphics)
