They have learned a lot from BF4 so it think it'll be alright.

Just hope the theme won't feel to repetitive.

Looks like a graphically spiced up BF4. I still like BF4 how it is today.

Also "more features" and "more destruction" sounds frightening...

who cares...

Where is that news? Of course it has a military setting that's why its called Battlefield 5.
If it has a different setting it would get a second name like Hardline or Bad Company.

Battlefield 4 and battlefield hardline are different games? that's news to me. Hardline is totaly going to be like a DLC then i am guessing seen as they are already talking about BF5 when hardline isn't even out.

What they showed were clips from Final Stand, BF4's last map pack which just released earlier this week. That wasn't BF5.

Hardline isn't developed by DICE. Hardline is mostly being developed by Visceral games, the studio that developed Dead Space. Hardline uses BF4's engine, and DICE helped them utilize that engine, but that's about it. For all intents and purposes, Hardline is a Visceral game. That being said, Hardline is standalone. It's as much a "DLC" as... Left 4 Dead 2.

I'm okay with them "announcing" a BF5 already. I just hope that EA gives DICE the time they need to develop it fully. BF4 was a mess at launch, and it was obvious they needed more time. As long as BF5 gets the time required, it should be a decent game.

"A picture is starting to form here... I wonder if it's accurate? Some pieces don't quite seem to fit. Or maybe I just don't like the way it looks."

As long EA don't fuck it up! They can't be as bad as Ubisoft... Can it?

EA was Ubisoft before Ubisoft was Ubisoft.

EA is the middle-aged guy looking at the last couple weeks smirking and saying "kids". I think EA is going to be much better at playing the role of "gamer" champion after the rough couple of years they had. Like Microsoft last year, and Sony before them, sometimes you really need to fuck up before you adjust your policies.
