What ship should i buy? (As a first ship)

Swalox
Go to solution Solved by Wauthar,

I'd go for the 325a, if you have that price in mind. The starting weapons have gotten a huge upgrade since the last patch and it's fighting potential is finally coming up. But that doesn't mean you won't be slaughtered by, say, an Aurora with a skilled pilot. ;)

The Mustang is really a starter ship. It has better weapons than the Aurora, but it loses the cargo space and sacrifices armor for some speed. It's a glass cannon.

I'm looking for a ship that is mainly good at dogfighting but exploration is also a nice bonus.

I also don't want to pay over 90$

The ship will be bought within this month. Earlier or later depending on my cash

The mustang will be the Aurora's equal so when you think of that its slow and not powerful however its small and can take a smack or two.

The mustang is made from "unstable alloys" so I think it'll trade strength for speed.

The 325A is a clear winner between the two if you ask me and the starting weapons actually aren't THAT bad.

Looks wise I would buy a mustang

We should put you in charge of coming up with ship codenames

Although I'd love to take credit for that, I was merely quoting Chris xD

It's true though, Mustang is quite powerful but quite weak at the same time :)

True but it worked for the hurricane in WW2 and it seems lightweight manoeuvrable ships seem to have an advantage ATM.

nice shot,

While we are on the subject, did they fix the engine's HP? Or is it still a super easy to hit weakness on the 300i series?

I will try to figure that out today when im home.

I think they've fixed that a couple of patches ago. It shouldn't happen as often as it used to do. Although, the 325a has a smaller shield than the standard 300i.
