i have hated it since the very first day i saw it appear, and i still do, i took it as a sign of changing times. So whenever i see it i get a unsettling feeling of dislike and disgust deep down to the very core of my being. .

Don't know really. Some people like Askew want to say goodbye to people and let them know why they are leaving? Askew knew a lot of people on this forum and engaged quite a lot so I guess he felt obliged to say goodbye. Nobody has a bloody clue who I am and I don't really engage in many conversations so I wouldn't really bother with the whole goodbye thing. I don't think too many people would notice let alone care if I left. ( :( *sighs and quietly whispers "poor me") :P
