Need help with laptop's fan issue for my friend.

Okay, my friend needs help with this fan issue on her laptop.

She had this CyberPowerPC's laptop for 6 months. Suddenly, when she boot up, she heard this loud fan sound like a motor or like a little baby lawnmower.

She did contact CyberPowerPC to get it check out, but I want to see if it is something that she can fixed (non-techy). :P

maybe try to remove dust from inside the laptop. it may have caught in the fan and make it do that noise

Dust would make a minor difference to the noise level though, it wouldn't make a little baby lawnmower sound.

it could make the pc hotter. and then make the fan spin faster though :P
