I want to know how you rank the major tv brands. I personally like Vizio for budget tv's, and im a fan of sony tv's. but I really can't wait for OLED tv's to become more available.

please add Element

317 is watching. 317 is everywhere. 317 is life.

Which one? I have the TH-P50V20A 50" kinda smart TV (integration with apps and crap wasn't that good).

Samsung is my top pick.

Great software, compatibility, looks, and performance depending on the series that you pay for. Also they are pretty far ahead with innovation, with only LG close behind on the 5k panels, OLED, curved displays, etc...

LG is second, but they have been doing some pretty disgusting stuff with their smart tv software, such as recording sound and video from your home, as well as recording all the content you watch on the TV. Some pretty bid privacy issues.

Sony and Sharp also have pretty good smart TV software, and their panels are very good too.

Any other brands I would only consider if I was on a tight budget.

Well we only have Panasonic at home, and I'd have to say they're really good TVs. We've had one of them for going on 8 years now I reckon and it's still good now. I think LG are decent, but I'm happy with Panasonic.

I dont know the model number (and i cant be bothered going to look), but it does have that crappy integration with apps thing.. but then again.. most 'smart' tv's have a similar quality one.
