What's the best thermal paste?

Go to solution Solved by Shaqo_Wyn,

Title.

Size Price doesn't matter.

Good thermal paste doesn't run, is non-conductive and has good thermal performance (leaps and bounds better than stock thermal paste).

Artic Cooling MX-4 fits all these criteria.

Arctic MX-4, IC Diamond 24k, Arctic silver 5

I use and recommend MX-4

NH-T1 and IC Diamond works pretty well too, with just a bit higher temps than MX4

Arctic Silver 5 is really old, and performs worse than these three. I would not recommend it.

best is the coollaboratories ultra or pro. but they do have a lot of issues on

metal compatibility and re-use.

easiest to use are the Arctic Cooling MX-4 and Noctua NT-H1
