Best way to keep tubing in place

While I was slightly pulling out my bay resevoir, a tube came off the cpu block and drenched my case. I got everything dry for a day with a fan and everything works. I put zip ties (cable ties) around the tubing and barbs tightly. Should that be enough to keep them in place?

Zip ties will work as long as they aren't some extremely cheapo flimsy ones. But compression fittings, man. Much better than barbed fittings and they're worth the money.

Turns out that my kit came with clamps that hold the tubing in place so they don't come out but I forgot to put them on. Please call me an idiot I deserve it

Idiot. :P

You can also get fittings that are slightly bigger than the tubing you're using if you want to avoid using hose clamps.
