Corsair 1300 hinge snapped

So today, after 1 and a half years (approximately) my corsair 1300 headset's right earcup broke and is now dangling from a wire. It broke a while ago, but I tried glue and that obviously didn't work out too well as it is now literally dangling from a wire. Anyways, I wanted to know if the average lifespan of this headset was about a year and a half, or if I got really lucky/ unlucky. and also some suggestions for my next set, I've been looking at the Siberia V2 and the upcoming V3's recently. Thanks for any help in advance!

its usually 2 years, at least, because thats when normal warranty expires.

No, because I tried glueing it which is "

  • Any modification, abuse, accident, disassembly, misapplication, or unauthorized repair" According to Corsair's warranty agreement
