Rocking a CBR125 here, silly power restrictions in Aus   Can't even get past 100 if going uphill or with a decent headwind

You can get much larger bikes in Aus with the power restriction

Desktop:  MSi GTX 680 Lightning - MSi Mpower Z77- i7 3770k - Asus Xonar DGX  - 16Gb Ares Ram - GX 750w PSU

Laptop: MSi GE 60 - GTX 765m - i74700MQ - 8gb ram

Its an amazing bike, its comfy, its fast enough for most people, its easy to use for learners, fun enough for experienced riders, its cheap to buy, its easy to maintain, its super reliable, it has a lovely gearbox, its easy to ride in slow traffic, it goes crazy if you rev it high, you can do stunts on it too, it can be a great track bike, most people fit from short to tall, its gorgeous (especially the naked)

Honestly its just one of those rare close to perfect bikes

This is incorrect, you can't do wheelies on them or you will starve them from oil and blow your motor... Would be perfect otherwise

Bugger that, get a nice inline 4 250 (89-94  models have the highest power output) and have some fun!

You cant do long wheelies, like riding down the road for miles, but you can quick lifts, I mean there are hundreds of videos of people using them as stunt bikes...and plenty explaining why short ones are fine

Should you? probably not, but that doesnt stop people. its a powerful machine is all I mean

sustained wheelies - no

IF you want power and your on a learners licence, there is always the Honda CR500? Not like it's one of the most powerful dirt bikes ever made or anything....Honda made 234 or something that you can get rego'd for the road and it's learners approved.

Here's one for sale: http://www.gumtree.com.au/s-ad/logan-central/motorcycles/honda-cr500e-cre500/1083987584

This should be able to get you up some hills :D

I need a bike ASAP, life without 2 wheels sucks especially on summer days!

I've got an old trashed postie that was rego'd and I used to take it to the bush (these things are so fun on the trails), but the motor is blown and I need to re-register it.

Was thinking of shoving a lifan 140 in it but it looks like it is gonna cost more than what its worth (max id spend is about 600 to get in  a register-able condition). Might just sell it for parts and put the money towards my partners birthday present :(

Don't buy a china bike not worth it. Saver up big time and buy a honda or yamaha or wahtever.

Although I am not a fan of faired bikes, I have a massive weak spot for the daytona and have looked at them a few times, its one of the best looking sports bikes on the planet IMO

I think we can all just agree that Triumph are the best

That makes me a sad panda

(I also like Ducati, Suzuki, Yamaha and some others its just that I even like some of the triumph cruisers and sports bikes which is weird because thats not my thing at all)
