why specifically 125 cc two cylinder?

because typically they have higher torque numbers which will help move the slight bit extra weight around :)

AFAIK single cylinders should provide most torque

Don't buy a china bike not worth it. Saver up big time and buy a honda or yamaha or wahtever.

Dude, the lifans are known to be reliable and pretty durable not to mention they cost bugger all for parts so every 20,000 kms it needs a rebuild I can buy the kit for sub $100 AUD

Ive ridden a postie with the lifan 140 and the motor is very strong, especially for a chinese motor.

Scrapyard Build Total Cost: $268AUD

looks good, but i don't like Husqvarnas. My 2010 TC250 was a bloody let down, won't start when warm, down on power but it's very light and comfortable. I want to swap it for a Honda CRF250x or WR250f Yamaha. Anyone ridden a 250x or wrf?

Sources say he was killed on impact. Of course, I expect nothing less from Russian motor operators.

Might start trials riding i think, and ditch dirt bikes all together, as i don't really like riding with my 'friends' anymore as they say i am a really shit rider. So i'll sell my dirt bike buy a trials bike, then we'll see who the shit riders are....

(if you don't know) BTW this is a trials bike:

Apparently i don't get enough air over jumps, not fast enough even though i do about 5kmh slower than them, i'm not too confident so i don't do all the things i do so that is why i'm going to get a trials bike to ride on my own at my house and learn how to do trials skills, then we'll see who the shit riders are...

You could also, errm, don't give two cares about what they think of your riding skills. If you try your best to keep your technique correct, you're a good rider ;)

I'm not the fastest either, but the only thing I care about is riding correctly, making sure that every manoeuvre is executed exactly as it should.

Whatever you do, just have fun, who cares what a bunch of dudes have to say, it's what you like that matters :)

I'm looking into retrofitting an HID projector onto the XJR1300. So far I've established two things:

  1. it'll be expensive
  2. it'll be a fuck ton of work

However, I don't think it's going to fit :/

They look like cool lights probably pay off in the end.

YAY!! Selling my dirtbike and getting a Sherco 290, then hopefully a 125 2 stroke with the $$ left over from the Sherco, still need/want a dirt bike as my friends go riding and camping so i'd just use the 125 as a spare bike!
