Software: Where can I get Parallels for Mac on the cheap?

Hey there fellow LTT Community Members,

Im looking for a place to get a Parallels licence on the cheap. I've been using BootCamp but lately i've been running into tons of issues and to be honest, I'm a bit fed up. So if anyone knows one of those sites where software is extremely discounted please post it below!

Much Thanks!

Some how I doubt it will happen unless it's a link for Parallels 9 or older.

What issues are you having with bootcamp exactly? As it's basically a bootloader, for installing a clean Windows on a different partition. If you have issues with that, I doubt you will fix them using that software.

This probably doesn't apply, but new south Wales students get free/discounted access to software through school.

Use VirtualBox (pretty sure that's for OSX as well).

Or use Wine, you can then run any .exe file. Should be noted that Wine does not substitute Windows for gaming.

I'm gonna say this as well. VirtualBox is free and it works great! Being able to swipe from mac to windows back in fourth is nice. I use Windows 7 in VirtualBox to run Visual Studio and do my programming for C#.
