pc part picker community

so i put my first ever build on pc part picker, and over night it generated 5 comments and all of them were hateful, rude, nasty comments talking about how stupid i was for picking some of my parts and how bad my picture was. i have a droid razer HD, the camera isnt great for low light pics but i wanted to get a pic of the LED's on. with a community like that though im thinking of deleting my account on there. https://pcpartpicker.com/b/XWr7YJ is the link to my build, i seriously am proud of it but after that, it reminded me why i dont use forums very often, in fact one of the staff stepped in and deleted one of the comments..is my build THAT bad..?

Not the newest build, but COME ONE! why cant people understand that you're proud of your very nice build and respect that?

I see builds here that I dont really like, but I just ignore and walk away... 

 

But im just wondering what the 3550P means

It's not that bad. Sure it could be a bit better but you live in AUS so it's harder to get those parts.

dude i have no idea, when i found it the only thing i could think was holy crap thats a $200 cpu and it kills my i3

The majority of communities are like that. You get people insulting others and providing no constructive criticism. 

 

Post your builds here, you'll get suggestions for how to improve it, people evaluating it and such. If someone starts to insult you about it, others (not even staff) will set them straight.

Why do you have 2 kits of ram? You have a 2 by 4 kit and a 2 by 8 kit. Also, replace the velociraptor with a ssd.

ah yes, the ram. well pc part picker didnt have my ram, well they had the 16gb i had but not the 4gb so i improvised. it offended everyone that commented though. oh and dont worry, once i get a replacement for it that raptor is going to get tied to 1lb of tanerite.. i hate it..so much..

yeah pcpartpicker is great for well picking pc parts but the forums suck and the mods suck i got baned for making a joke and i ddint even know i got banned

Looking over the comments the general word is that the description is poorly written, which it is and the picture was very dark/hard to actually see.. looks like another was uploaded. Can't see the deleted by staff comment though but for the most part it was just straight forward criticism which isn't anything to complain about.

the main issue was the one deleted by the staff, it was someting to the extent of my laptop is better yada yada go die.

They aren't the brightest group of commenters. When I put mine up, all people could talk about was GPU sag. Did they want me to apologize for gravity existing? :huh:

 

Don't take it to heart. I'd still rather roll with 2 sticks than 4, but that's just me.

3550P has no IGP
