HP to split into two separate companies: one for PCs and printers, another for enterprise

Tried to find HP meme, only found ones relating to harry potter.

I just wish someone would make a printer that was worth a damn, every single one we've ever owned has worked decently for a few months, then becomes a complete pain in the ass to use.

Sony already spun off their PC division. MS? They ain't going anywhere. While other companies stock has tanked since the last crash, MS is making money left and right.

Know whats funny? A company was throwing away old laser printers. I got a few HP LaserJet 1022n's. Thing prints pages as soon as I hit print. No stupid ass ink to deal with. Best printer ever. Screw these new printers lol.

I have the HP LaserJet 1020 (essentially the same guts as the 1022). Mine is the direct-attach USB version, but it's a beauty. I've had it since 2005 and it still works like it's new. The only issue is that my cat broke the little fold-out paper tray on top (The one that holds the pages once the printer spits them out). I wonder if I could pick up a replacement part off ebay for cheap - it's just plastic after all.

I even stored the damn thing in a closet for around 3 years, then pulled it out, hooked it up, and it printed like new immediately. I bought some generic toners online - but I haven't needed to change my toner yet. Damn thing lasts me for over a year since I don't print much.

What I'd love to do is replace mine with a 3-in-1 (or 4-in-1, but fax is not strictly necessary) full colour, Network-attach, duplex Laser Printer. HP makes some beauts in the Colour Laser department.

Still have my almost 15 year old HP 930c, aside from the slightly melted cover caused by the lamp, it still works great. Only problem now is, I have to hand feed the paper one at a time. If I put in a bunch of it, takes all of them in at once.  Also have the double side printing kit for it, it used to work under XP, but stopped after that as the back side will only print upside down, and with the kit, Windows detects my printer as HP 952c.
