Wait, who doesn't help someone up if they fell off their bike, skateboard, whatever? Isn't that just common practice?

What do they know of England, who only England know?

Where I live you can be literally in the floor getting stabbed and absolutely no one will even turn their faces your way.

Unfortunately the second you start helping others you get rekt by the immense amount of thieves. I try to avoid being a jerk every time I can, but sadly one of the most important phrases of Apothecary Lydon is the best advice here: "Trust no one".

Being someone who knows a fair amount of people around the town, I know who to aid. Especially when I live in a pretty decent area. Though I know where you are coming from. When my cousin was mugged in London a few years back, no one helped. They just looked out the windows of there home. He's still shaken up about it now, 5 years later.

What do they know of England, who only England know?

I guess I really belong more to a small town, with fresh air and that community feel. I work in tech so there is not much to do outside the big cities.
