KSP Linus Easter Egg?

So, whilst browsing my subscriptions, I clicked on a preview of what KSP 0.25 will be like (It looks pretty badass!) but whilst watching, it seems as if Linus has been insterted into the game as an NPC for 'Science'.

What do you think? Weird coincidence or deliberate? I personally think it can't have been a mistake. Someone at Squad knows Linus enough to put him into the game!

I'm pretty sure the NPCs aren't generated randomly. But that list is for Kerbals themselves and it doesn't really help that much, other than showing he could never come out as a Kerbal to be hired.
