Hey Guys, i am in the market for a new phone (upgrading from an original Galaxy S) and i am tossing up between the phones mentioned in the title and maybe even the HTC one M7. so anyway, which phone would you recommend (it can be something different). for web browsing,gaming and other normal phone stuff.


CPU Intel I7-4700MQ @2.4 ghz, turbos to 3.4 

Motherboard  whatever toshiba put in the thing

RAM 8GB 1600mhz 

GPU  Nvidia Geforce GT 740M  

Storage 750Gb 5400rpm

S3 shouldn't even be a consideration, S4 is all right but quite dated.

The new Nexus is coming out, if you don't mind bigger devices.

I would say wait for the Nexus device, that's what I am doing.

Oh and I should mention, you should not take an SGS3... I am using one, and am looking forward to upgrading because it really feels shitty and slow now...

The new Moto X wont be here in australia for around 2 months, along with the new nexus phone (whatever it will be called) so its either going to be the M8 soon or either the Moto X or the new nexus later.

Of those 3 I'd probably go with the M8.  The S3 and 4 are both pretty dated at this point, but there is still quite a bit of development being done on them in the community.  I've had an S3 for a bit over 2 years now, and I'm really looking forward to a new phone soon though it did serve me really well.
