and yea ive had a  copy say over 1 year and then just finish in 10 minutes

one time i saw this screenshot and it said 194 hours left on like 5%... and the comment below asked if the dude was using a nuclear generator as his battery LMAO, i cracked up a ton :S

I've had my phone say 103 hours left on battery before.  Needless to say it didn't last anywhere near that long.

My old ass Compaq Evo N800v laptop says it has 1h 30 min battery when fully charged (running Lubuntu 14.10 btw), while in reality it's somewhere between 30 min - 1 hour. It's surprising, as that laptop is 10 years old, and the battery has seen it's better days. Though it's slow as ****, so I don't use it, ever.

Never trust my advice. Only take any and all advice from me with a grain of salt. Just a heads up.

I once used a computer that seriously thought it had a battery and it showed the battery always charged/on power. 

 

It was a tower. With no battery inside.

PC: AMD Ryzen 7 5800X Gigabyte X570 UD Corsair Vengence 32gb 3200MHZ Gigabyte RTX 2070 Intel 512gb boot / Seagate 2tb spinner Windows 10 Corsair 4000D black

My battery'll last about 6-8 hours if I push it.

I generally keep it plugged in. I'm at school and my laptop rarely sees any action in the field unlike the good old days. Probably not good for the battery, but I'm hoping it has a good battery protection circuit...

My phones extended battery should be around 15h, if its been in low use few hours after being disconnected it shows over 1-2d worth of battery life.

My thermaltake 850W psu can hold a charge for around 500 ms after being unplugged from the wall! I know its no macbook battery life, but it offers pretty good portability for a tower! Imagine being bored on the subway home from a long day at work. Wish you could play some games? With my 850W psu I can play games for a full 500ms with the power of a full tower!

My laptop doesn't have the battery prediction thing, but when it says 50% it always dies. It's annoying as hell
