What is the best monitor for 4k gaming?

TheEliteTaco

This probably isn't the first time someone asked this on here but I've been searching on Google and I couldn't find an answer. I'm building a new gaming pc and I would really like to have a 4k monitor. The response time has to be low. I don't want a screen smaller than 20 inches and I would prefer the aspect ratio to be 16:9. I don't like the ultra wide screens. Money isn't much of an issue but I will be doing at least a 2 screen setup.

Is the PC you're building able to run it?

Someone told Luke and Linus at CES 2017 to "Unban the legend known as Jerakl" and that's about all I've got going for me. (It didn't work)

They don't make ultra wide 4k displays sadly.
I'd have to say the Acer GSync 4k monitor is probably the best, because it will help smooth out the experience that will be choppy.

Unless you have a decent graphics card set up. Well. Excessively decent.

I'm guessing you're not too up on 4k if you think they make them in sizes smaller than 24"...

No 4K monitor is good for gaming. 4K gaming isn't a realistic goal currently IMO.

It should be. I will be running the new i7-4960X and will most likely be running 4 GeForce GTX Titan Blacks in SLI

Um, well IDK anything about 4K monitors. So I'll tag @helping he might know.

I don't know much about 4k monitors either, but you're not going to be getting one near 2ms.

The response time doesn't really matter much, reviews that mention severity of ghosting is more useful.

I would go for triple 1440p IPS instead because 4k is still in its infancy.

Error: 410

The manufacturers should do 1920x1080  2560x1440 and Whatever 4k is 3500+x 2500, I can't even remember the resolution. That way ultra high end gamers can step down to the 1440P resolution if they cannot play at acceptable FPS using 4K. To my knowledge those are 60hz panels at the 4K level. I have learned through computer forums that there are always those guys with the obnoxious supercomputers with 3 or 4 GPU's in SLI or Crossfire. Typically they have 32GB of ram or 64GB of ram. They always say they don't need it but they do it because they can.

I game on the asus pb287q 4k monitor with 2x gtx 780ti in sli and I get 45-100 fps with games set to high or ultra settings with low AA. I think op will be ok.
