As reported by GameSpot (http://www.gamespot.com/articles/isis-used-gta-5-in-a-recruitment-video-report/1100-6422464/) and other sources ISIS is using video games to recruit.  Not surprising they would use this sort of tool considering they could reach many impressionable young minds this way.  It has been said in some stories they have an actual game they created but I saw no link for it anywhere.  If someone could provide that I would appreciate it as I just want to play a free game. LOL

It's grand theft auto 5. I don't know why they would even claim it's their game when literally every asset in the video other than sound is from the game. I just wonder how rockstar is going to respond. Also, why would Isis use this if they are so against the west when this is one of the most stylized western games available?

With a lackluster story, graphics we saw in games 6 years ago and lots of anti-American propaganda you would think that this game wouldn't be that good, and you'd be right.

The only redeeming feature is the sound. The leaders of ISIS sound very passionate when giving their speeches but that's about it. This is essentially a worse version of GTA 4.

I don't think this is real and I think it's a mere joke made by someone. I highly doubt they would spend time making a fucking game about shooting people when they're in the middle of a war and even if they did, what's the point? I know from first hand that pointing an analog stick is different than aiming an actual gun... You can also tell from the voices of the people talking in the game that they're being sarcastic and are mocking ISIS. Just saying...

Do some research, it is actually a particular sect for the most part, I can't remember the name of it but it stars with a W and is a fairly short name. They have schools they set up and basically all they learn is that to practice Islam, you must kill infidel's.

They don't misinterpret, the Quran literally says "when a believer meets a none believer, they must either kill, convert, or enslave the non believer". Most just choose to ignore that part. I'm sure parts of the bible say similar things.

 

The reason we call them "fundamentalists" is because they believe, rigidly, strictly, in the fundamentals of that religion.

Not really, if you actually read the Koran it talks about killing infidels. almost all Muslims don't do anything of the sort, but it's definitely in there.
