Where does the GTX 690 stand within the current GPU's on the market?

I just saw one on ebay for sale so it made me wonder how they are.

From what I've seen they are around the same as a 780, I'd go with a 970 if I were you, the older cards won't be as supported in the future as the brand new ones.

It can still hold its own, but considering its a dual gpu card - that doesn't mean very much.

Assuming that it's fully functional (I avoid EBAY for electronics) it will be slightly more powerful than a single-card 780Ti. It will, however draw more power, and run a little bit hotter.

It's two slightly underclocked 680s...I think it's more powerful than a single 780...

I generally always go for the fastest Single GPU I can afford, this is a card running in SLI. You will have all the normal SLI-caused issues, but with not as much power as a real SLI setup.... If you are getting a ridiculous deal on an almost new one, might consider it, but if its a couple years old... get a 970/980

SLI 760s can beat a 780Ti in SLI optimized games... 690 is essentially SLI 770s(or 680s) in one card in SLI optimized games it should beat any single GPU atm

770 is a rebranded 680 pretty much. Generally with nVidia the case is, the current 80 drops to next gen 70 if the archtecture is the same.

No, they're two GK104 (760 is GK104 though) chips. Let's not go by relative performance and instead use actual facts here.
