could a 780 run 3 monitors with different resolutions?

So I'm looking at getting a GTX 780 as my next upgrade. I know that AMD drivers let you run different resolution monitors in games, so I'm wondering if nvidia drivers let you do the same thing,

The monitors resolution are 1680x1050 and 1080p.

 

 

 

EDIT: Sorry I probably should of made my question more clear. I meant different resolution in GAMES. Not just on the desktop. Sorry for the confusion.

I don't think you win anything from gaming on awkward resolutions that look like crap...

No Nvidia surround has to be the same resolution currently.

he never mentioned surround just multiple monitors, with eyefinity they have to be the res but for standard multi-monitors on AMD it's fine

I did not know that. One more point for AMD

Nvidia is to Dr Dre Beets as AMD is to KFC.

One makes you broke, the other you can get more of and have a midnight snack from the fridge when hungry again. Once you go Nvidia, you go broked, turn into an Elitist, or get the incorrect amount of VRAM.

With Nvidia even at the desktop it would be surround unless the OP has windows 8 which in that case he can run multiple screens with multiple taskbars. Also AMD recently updated their eyefinity software to support different resolutions across 3 or more.

If you lower the resolution of the 1080p monitor(s) to the highest shared res (1680x1050) you can run it in surround. The problem you will have is that non-native resolutions look muddy so I'd go all 1080p if you can.

Does it work if you aren't playing any games just on the desktop. Because I wanna get a 4K and two IPS 1080p monitors.
