k1llampt

Ok so my current headset (Razer Carcharias) just went out in the left speaker so I am going to buy a new headset I don't want to skimp on any category so I want your guys opinion on the best overall 7.1 Headset under $100 based on

1. Build Quality

2. Sound Quality

3. Comfort

I have a few options that I have seen that are decent but I'd like to get some other opinions.

why 7.1? lol....stereo headphones are just fine....you have 2 ears...headphones don't need more than 2 speakers....

surround sound on a headset is pointless. Stereo is perfectly fine. 7.1 should be reserved for home theater setups. Stereo sound simulates directional patterns and "surround" perfectly when the source of audio is good.

Either get what @Azn suggested or  learn that 7.1 isn't much better than Stereo and get a overall higher quality head set like the Kingston HyperX Clouds

Hmm no to the sennheiser 518, no mic. I'd prefer not to have to buy a separate mic. I was looking at a few here are the links,

tell me what you guys think. Also the sennheiser is a little out of my budget but I might be able to stretch it. If anyone has any personal experience with any of these headsets let me know how good the build quality, sound, comfort, and mic quality are.

It doesnt necessarily have to be a 7.1 headset however I think a built in mic is a must, i have enough things on my desk and i dont need a super mic. I mainly care about build and sound quality. Comfort is also important

I think you should get the 518 and a separate mic. Or! the Kingston HyperX cloud. Siberia V2 isn't terrible, but most other headsets are, for the money.
