I was equally as disappointed with my Valley scores too. Oh well, next time I upgrade I'll leave the LGA 1156 behind lol.

yeah valley is craptastic too but in a different way. i think  heaven is the best tbh. even then once you get to 250-300fps its a cpu benchmark, but at least its not 120fps like valley.

Exactly.  It's just another CPU test once you get FPS so high.

Valley sucks.....has for a long time.  Glad people are catching on.  They have a new one coming out this month, if it stays on schedule.  Hopefully, this one isn't CPU bound....or, at least uses more than a single thread.

yeah. i'm benching all my gpus with it then its going before zen releases and it becomes a 50P chip :P its better than i expected though tbh. was a random one from computer exchange, so i thought it might do 4.2-4.4ghz on 1.4v but 4.75ghz 1.35v no problems :) the main issues i ahve had is me being a noob with x99. I have had this soc champion for 3 or 4 months and i was planning on getting a chip to put in it, but then brexit came and chips went up 30% in price so i didnt buy any until now.

I haven't tried one yet that wouldn't do greater the 4.5.  I think it gets a bad rep because most people don't have adequate cooling.  They approach it as if it's just a little warmer than a 4 core, when they actually produce a shitload more heat than a 4 core when overclocked.

Run CPU:OCCT on that beast at 4.75 and let me know how it does then.  :P

not much chance of running any stress tests on this. dont have the time :P its got to go before the 13th of December .

tbh i dont run stress tests on anything ever :P just use it and if it blue screens add more voltage.

You obviously don't do anything important on those particular builds.  xD

You should be able to pull off an addition 1000 to 1500 on that CPU score if you push that thing to 4.8/4.9.

Nope.  I only do benching. I could put it under phase and it would probably do 5.2-5.3ghz on 1.6-1.7v but these soc champions are not known for being reliable.
