omfg what the fuck is up with these companies making everything a facebook like or a retweet i understand the point of the giveaway is to make people go promote your shit, but how about making them go to your website or something else, a simple add on it gives you more money and exposure that a facebook like, and AFAIK facebook doesn't have any way people can profit on it, other that putting games and apps on it

I did the Steam and the facebook thing because I have a junk facebook account but I won't do the twitter thing. Because I can't be bothered with creating a twitter account even if it was guaranteed that I was going to win.

It makes it so your friends know you like it, encouraging discussion, etc... also, your friends will get Ads in Facebook now... saying YOUR NAME HERE likes XYZ, and then show an AD in their stream.
