Shadow play FPS counter keeps turning itself on everytime i relaunch a game or a media player apps

Shadowplay everytime i open a game FPS counter gets turned on , even if i play a video in Media player classic FPS counter turns on , i turn it off using hotkeys , load the next video , it turns FPS counter on ,i need to be able to control it , why is turning on everytime even though i toggled it off ? any solutions ?
