Cooler master G600W

Go to solution Solved by Faceman,

Yes, the G600 is plenty for your system.  Full load, everything overclocked with lots of watercooling, fans, HDDs, LEDs, etc.. your system is only pulling 375W.

You can't OC your CPU, and you don't have nearly as much extras as JayzTwoCents does, so you will be perfectly fine with that PSU.

Don't go insane with your GPU overclock, you don't have a complete grasp on what you are doing, and I would strongly advise against using custom BIOS.  Just overclock it using MSI Afterburner.

Do your research.

Hey guys im currently using the PSU above and i wanna ask whether is it possible to run this setup with this PSU? http://www.coolermaster.com/powersupply/office-home-g-series/g600/

I don't see why not, wattage is fine, the PCI-E connectors are sufficient, has a single +12v rail. Should be fine with that system.

I didn't praise the PSU, in fact I'd advise anyone looking to buy a PSU to not get it (Corsair's CX ones imo are better), but if he al;ready has it than it should be fine afaik.

But  @dragoon20005 said it isnt tho..... Is it really? :o because once i purchase the r9290 there is no going back :o

You'll be fine with it, though I wouldn't recommend it for a new build, but seeing as you already have it than you shouldn't worry. It's not as if it's going to explode ............or is it?

so i'll be fine even with an overvolted OCed r9 290 on liquid cooling?

Even if it's apart of a budget lineup it won't break or damage other components. If it was from a less known company *cough* Cougar *cough* than I'd suggest you buy another PSU, but that isn't the case here.

Use a overclocking utility such as the one provided by MSI, called MSI Afterburner. Google around.

i mean i know but how do you hack the bios D:

Yes, the G600 is plenty for your system.  Full load, everything overclocked with lots of watercooling, fans, HDDs, LEDs, etc.. your system is only pulling 375W.

You can't OC your CPU, and you don't have nearly as much extras as JayzTwoCents does, so you will be perfectly fine with that PSU.

Don't go insane with your GPU overclock, you don't have a complete grasp on what you are doing, and I would strongly advise against using custom BIOS.  Just overclock it using MSI Afterburner.

Do your research.
