Post Farming....As Stated by Moderators

ddbtkd456

 Already in there:

Section 4, "Spamming":

"Spam includes, but is not limited to: [...]

- post-count farming."

We do have a rule on it, it's just that most people don't bother

reporting it. But yes, people should use the edit button, not multi-

post. You can report those posts, we can merge them. That's actually

pretty easy in IPB. :)

So I had asked a question of if there should be a rule on triple posting or more and I got this response....we should probably start taking this seriously since I've noticed that alot of people like to triple post instead of edit there post. Now on the mobile version it is impossible to quote someone more then once...so that is the only draw back...anyone else get annoyed with people doing this?

If you've previously won the build off please pm me so we can get something worked out.

I pretty much always edit my posts especially when I want to say a little more or I have made a stupid mistake. To be perfectly honest I don't see too many people make post multiple times to correct themselves or to answer another question but when it does happen it's usually new members which is acceptable and most members will point out that there is a feature to multi-quote.

I've been seeing several existing members do it...weather they be on mobile or not is a different story..even then unless I'm quoting someone its always usually edited.

I see nothing wrong with posting after yourself if there was a decent amount of time between post since you want people to look at the thread again in case they looked after you posted also in off topic it doesn't matter at all since posts don't count
