What's with calling PCs "PCs" if they're not personal. I go to the library, they have PCs for everyone to use. What's up with that?

 

What's with all the consumer grade electronics with the "Pro" tag at the end? You have all those "Pro" SSDs.

 

Same with any gaming labeled ram.

Most phone names are pretty stupid and so are AMD GPU names.

There CPU names make a lote more sense as Intel's though:

8-amount of cores

3-generation: in this case the third, which is vishera

2-clockspeed

0-this one just makes the number look bigger.

 

Now let's take a look at Intel's:

i5-rough performance or something

4-this one makes sense, generation

6-clockspeeds and cache and who knows what more

7-also clockspeed

0-also to make the number look bigger, sometimes also clockspeed

K-from kunlocked or something

MacBook Pro. Seriously. It was called the PowerBook before they went Intel and that was a much better name. Same goes for the Macbook. That used to be the iBook. And the Mac Pro used to be the Power Mac. All better than they are now.
