Gigabyte GTX 770 4GB

Maxwell
Go to solution Solved by Jodomcfrodo,

It can run at that refresh rate and resolution. Only you're not going to max many games at 144 FPS. I would get the 2 gb version as well.

As I am building up a new system, I started asking me if my GeForce can run 1920x1080 resolution at 144Hz on my new monitor...

Does anyone has experiences or can answer my question... If there are more information needed, feel free to ask.

Graphics Card: Gigabyte GeForce GTX 770 4GB

Monitor: Asus VG248QE

Thanks in advance

Pretty much. Not maxing things out but you can get high frame rates on high settings.

It won't be able to keep up to 144FPS, but it should be able to stick somewhat close to 60FPS, with a few settings turned down in some games.

So I have the Asus 770 2GB version, and I run the same monitor. In games like Portal 2, TF2, CS:G0, Dota 2, the game will run at 144 or more. (Dota has a fps limit of 120.) Games that are more taxing on the GPU such as BF3, Titanfall, and World of Tanks, usually run for me 70-90 at max. Thus if you really wanted more fps just turn down your settings and get moar. EZPZ

the 770 at 1080p should max out games to come at 60fps for a while. Except for Witcher 3.

I'm surprised no one has said get an r9 290 over a 4gb 770, they are pretty similarly priced in Europe, and the 290 is a clear winner.
