cosair power supplie

Go to solution Solved by ray946,

750W is way overkill for this system. A single 4790 and 280X could run no probs on 500W. @Aniallation There's something people often misunderstand. Overkill doesn't mean your system will suffer, only your wallet (or possibly efficiency if low enough).

ray946, you could save a little and get an RM550, or you could look for a Seasonic G Series or S12G Series 550W, XFX XTR 550W, Rosewill Capstone-550-M, Cooler Master V550S, or one of several others.

Thanks for your help i will go for the rm 550 and again thanks ????

It would be okay, but the RM aren't necessarily an amazing line of supplies. What is the budget?

Yes. There is a sticky for this.

Personally though I wouldn't get the RM. Get the EVGA 750 G2

750W gives a bit of headroom, and the EVGA G2 is the PSU to get right now pretty much, being a Super Flower made unit. I never said that 750W would be required, I said that I'd take the 750G2 over the RM650, as there is no 650G2.

That reminded me to post on EVGA's forums. Here we go http://forums.evga.com/My-suggestions-to-EVGA-m2205456.aspx
