Hi guys. So recently I found this cpu in my attic. Apparently it has been in there for 4-5 years and I can't tell what components it has. Can you guys identify them? :P

Why not just boot it up and look in Device Manager?

From the looks of it all I can identify is a Gigabyte GA-EP41-UD3L motherboard.

775 socket. That's the best I can do.

Looks like a Core2 (not sure which)...

2/4GB DDR2 800 RAM

nVidia GeForce (something)... It's definitely not a mid/high end card....

Glad to see some eSATA on that thing...

P.S.

Won't hurt anyone if you try to boot it... It doesn't look that old...

Not all that easy to identify them from this angle but...

The motherboard is a Gigabyte EP31-UD3l which is a socket 775 board. Scrap this and you should get a bit of money back for the copper.

Intel stock cooler obviously

Some sort of graphics card. A low end Nvidia, possibly 200 series, GPU or ATI equivalent.

eSATA

Not sure what the bottom card is. Maybe a network card?

I can't really get much more from the picture.

Extras:

Bottom card is definitely a wireless network card.

Some model of a Seagate HDD. You could find the model by typing the model number into Google.

Vantec ION 2 460W (that's what I could make out anyway) PSU.

yea those parts you see are pretty common in the core 2 duo/quad era

looks like it got 2GB Kit RAMs

and that time Vantech was making PSUs

but now no longer

what a hilarious paperchase...

PSU: Vantec iON 2 [ ] @TheMcSame , sure about 460W...can't quite make it out ?

Mobo: Gigabyte   GA-EP41-UD3L

CPU: [  ] Intel

RAM: 2 x [  ] GB DDR2 OCZ Reaper

GPU: [  ]

HD: Seagate [  ]

as numerous poster above mentioned: to get the pending data, the OP should read the productcode of ( printed on) each part...especially the CPU ^^ ( yes that will require the removal of the heatsink )...
