£300-500 laptop light gaming

My friend is going to uni and needs a laptop for light gaming and watching films, I know nothing about laptops and I'm wondering if anyone could help games he is looking are are like TF2, mine craft, other low graphics demanding games. I just know nothing about the whole laptop processors and gfx cards. I have work soon so I may not reply for a while thanks in advance.
