Oh look something the PC could already do many years back. They call all this new stuff innovative but in fact they were all already available for the PC for quite some time.

Still it is a massive improvement over the 360s and I'll give them props for that.

I'm just glad MS went back to X86 after going PowerPC for the 360. Should mean easier porting between XB1/PS4/PC and lower development costs. The fact that they all share similar architectures should mean development costs for multi-plat games won't get split up between different hardware. Hopefully that will translate to better graphics for everyone and better optimization for PC (since porting to it is so easy anyway).

Whats your tougth on the xbox ones graphic?

An improvement in console terms yes, but we have had this kind of graphical power for years on the PC and they are claiming its brand new and innovative.
The CoD Ghost footage looks worse than crysis 1 (on pc) which is 6 years old.
Also PS4 will be able to drive higher resolutions therefor better graphics.
You might think to yourself, well you can't compare PC and consoles because they are totally difference, true but they need to get off their high horse and stop claiming that this is going to be the best gaming experience you can have and loads of brand new crap in games. Its all old news, wrapped in a fancy xbox style.

FYI, we didn't even SEE ANY GAMEPLAY!!!! just pre-rendered rubbish and then even it doesn't look that good compared to what we have today and what we saw at the Sony show.
They are marketing this as a entertainment system, gaming is not there priority.

We didn't see any Xbox One graphics, We saw a lot a pre-rendered cinematics. The Forza 5 was just an intro video which doesn't represent in game, same with remedys game and Fifa. We saw some possible in game environments in COD but even then I'm not sure and it didn't look that good.

No live gamplay, constant use of 'Groundbreaking', 'revolutionary' ect and over-kill statements turned me away after a few minutes.

Why can't the Xbox team take a leap out of Dice's book. A good 17minute gameplay reveal trailer and veryone knows what is what. We know it looks good and not just some kinda nice pre-rendered 'gameplay'

I wouldn't say impressed, considering I've see better, even on my mid-range PC, but definitely a massive improvement over the previous generation. There was a lot of catching up and absolutely no innovation.

I personally like the fact that textures will finally be optimized for 1080p gaming and the relatively large amount of RAM their using (I know it's shared, but still a huge improvement) , so we can finally enjoy some decent sharp textures on PC too. Sure that advantage won't last long as PCs move to higher resolutions during the life time of the console, but at least it's good for now :).

I'm very curious to see how 8GB of DDR3 compete against GDDR5, my guess is it will further prove XBox's focus on TV and PS4's focus on gaming.

I don't mean in that sense I mean texture wise, the PS4 is using GDDR5 which is far better than DDR3 which the xbox is using.

I'll reserve judgement until i see some official specs.

The new kinect however, looks orgasmic and terrifying.

It's like a scaled up LeapMotion.

Ah, it's all coming together. Occulus Rift + LeapMotion + New Kinect... We are so close to full scale VR.

not neccecarily, DDR3 will have a lower latency! (better for cpu)

Yes it has lower latency....so what?

In games texture resolution is what matters (graphically that is) the GDDR5 will be able to push higher res textures than DDR3 which I suspect is what makes the xbox so snappy with its kinetic switching etc.

Its still too early to say anything though, but GDDR5 is better for gaming.

Like its been said many other times...Xbox One - TV,Movies,Sports, with gaming tacked on the end.  PS4 - Gaming is the core of the experience.

with 8 cores using the ram, bandwidth isnt as big an issue as latency, textures can load at a slower rate!

Yes I know >.< but it doesn't matter in the slightest.

The reason xbox has DDR3 is the same reason PC's still use DDR3, because the xbox is a all in one experience as they say, tv, movies etc, GDDR5 isn't designed for that, its for gaming, which the xbox isn't focused on.  GDDR5 is still able to support higher textures better, whether or not developers take advantage of it, is another question.  Maybe for exclusive titles but not cross platform as they will take the easiest route (which will be xbox one)

(pulling that out of my ass but its what I suspect)
