I'm curious as well. Has anyone here actually used a key from there for an extended period of time?

Hey all

I was browsing the web and ended up on G2A (a retailer I've never used before). Are they a legitimate site?

Windows 8.1 for $18 USD seems a little cheap.

Sorry for being a noob!

Thanks!

I made a topic about installing it a couple days ago. Read through it. http://linustechtips.com/main/topic/185303-windows-81-installation/

You buy the key and then screen share with someone from G2A so they can validate that they key works.  They'll send you this link for you to download the Windows setup file which will tell you if the key is legitimate and working or not.

You don't need to download a Windows .iso file, the Windows Setup will do all of that for you.

I got scammed on G2A (season pass of a game). Maybe I was unlucky but for sure I will never buy again from their website.

SOME of the codes are legit. Not all of them. Some people bought Windows 8.1 codes and were just given a bunch of game codes. I never tried it but I never will. Just can't trust something like G2A.
