My reaction when I first installed my 500gb 840 evo was very similar lol. Although you seem to have done a better job illustrating it lol.

No SSD in three systems and doing just fine.  No plans to change that either.  Gamer rigs where money will be spent to increase FPS before anything else.

Too many ****ing games!  Back log 4 life! :S

Yeah SSD does not help game FPS, only a loading time.

I beg to differ.  I'm running a 500GB HDD right now, 7200 RPM and it is in no way fast enough.  Especially when loading maps in Battlefield.  It takes like 3 minutes to load BF3, and like 10 to load BF4.

I'm installing BF4 on the SSD because people with SSD get to spawn first in BF4 and get vehicles before other players, before I was playing with 7200rpm drive and it takes AGES to load I can't wait to see the difference.

 

Before when I finally load and spawn I see already 1 checkpoint is taken buy guys and I know it's because they got SSD.

Well I'd rather have more eye candy when I actually play and play at higher resolutions because my system can support it vs putting money into something that loads maps faster on initial load.

Too many ****ing games!  Back log 4 life! :S

Nice choice but I already have GTX 670, although a 290 is a nice upgrade I'd rather wait and look at GTX 800 series and whatever AMD produce next before I upgrade, my card is still running my games 60fps+ so I'll keep it for now.
