Quad Channel or Dual Channel?

As in the Title mentioned, do you get more Performence from Dual or Quad Channel Memory Sticks?

Or does it stay the same performence?

Quad channel is faster than double, no doubt, but it depends on what application are you using.

On gaming the difference is non existent.

Quad channel > than dual, however most systems will only accept dual channel.

 

In most applications that aren't memory dependant the difference will be negligible.

Just as DEcobra11 said, you need 2011 socket to have quad channel.
