Dell U2414H USB Hub not working?

I tried to plug my keyboard and mouse into the USB Hub on the back but they don't seem to work. The LED's on the mouse and keyboard are not on and the mouse cursor is not working. Am I doing something wrong.

have you hooked up the monitor to the PC using the USB B cable?

Is this one of those hubs where one goes to the tower? Try an usb 2.0 connector on the tower not an usb 3.0.

Bye LTT. That was an interesting journey on this board. At least here you see how not to do it. I'll go shaking my head about this place.

Yea I plugged in the USB B into the monitor and it's normal USB into my PC.

Turns out it's not compatible with USB 3.0 which is a bit stupid. It works fine in my 2.0 ports.

One problem I have noticed with my other display though is that it's input lag is terrible.
