PS3/PS4, because of:

1) The Japanese games. Japan is still a very pro-console environment. You would have a better chance of getting struck by lightning twice, than to see a good chunk of their games ported (and ported well) into the PC. I am personally excited for Guilty Gear XRD.

2) The controller. I am sorry, but i find the asymmetrical thumb sticks on the Xbox controllers very annoying.

3) Playstation Plus. Sony clearly understands what Steam is doing to drive the PC gaming sales. At the same time however, It looks at what Microsoft did right with the 360-era Xbox Live.

4) Limited use of proprietary nonsense. For what it is (a console), Sony has been fairly hands-off with the Playstation design. Swappable hard drive, full multimedia support, and compatibility with third-party controllers.

Well, in that case, the war was already victorious prior to the declaration.

Basically, victory by opponent's suicide.

Console: Wii U

Handheld: 3ds

For me really the only platforms with worthwhile games in the console market.

But you can do other things with a steam box.

I don't think an Impersonal Computer counts as a console either.

I think you're forgetting you can do other things with other consoles too...

No doubt I'd chose the Super NES, best console ever!

Fat PS3 with PS2/PS1 backwards compatibility.

Mostly because it would give me access to a massive library of games.

If you had to choose one console that you can only use, what would it be? No it can't be a PC. Sorry if i'm reposting I did a search in google and didn't find a topic about this.

strawpole is needed because you started a console argument and it will be interesting to see which one wins given the fact that the ps4 is out selling the one

why they took that away is beyond me the only one who does it right is Nintendo but they do it to much with the ten games that they release a year 5 are remakes
