Do some hard work over a day, to get you tired. At least that works for me. I'm jogging every day for 30mins - 1hr. Wroks like a charm.

Dont go on the internet or look at any device other than the tv for at least 30 minutes before bed if not try download some bob ross. its really calming to listen to

Judging by this you are still on a device as we speak. That's not going to help at all, is it? In fact, it will keep your mind active and not let you relax to go to sleep naturally. Now, if you are like me and need to some kind of noise in the background, turn a TV on, if you have one in your room and set the volume to low. Go to bed at a reasonable time and just relax. Complaining that you are not sleeping and still being on here isn't at all a good idea.

Now, if you are like me and need to some kind of noise in the background, turn a TV on, if you have one in your room and set the volume to low. Go to bed at a reasonable time and just relax. Complaining that you are not sleeping and still being on here isn't at all a good idea.

Exactly, complaining to your iPod won't make you fall asleep. It will just make it harder.

 

All you can do is turn everything off and deal with the suckage until you wake up.

On a serious note, if this a one time thing it's okay, if it's a constant thing , it maybe time that you see a doctor, try listening to less vocalish music, try subtle trance music or binuaral beats dreams music, usually people sleep faster on a cold enviornment, so try that one as well. or read this post over & over again till you fall asleep

Now that somebody already recommended watching Bob Ross I'd say give medication another try. Nyquill is a heavy barbiturate and probably the wrong way to go. I would try something like baldrian root and hops extracts. They're avery natural seditivum. That, and Bob Ross should let you sleep well. Also try a cold shower before going to bed, especially for the feet. If you were older i would recommend drinking a beer because of the alcohol and again the hops.

Usually the best way for me to fall asleep fast is to shut off my electronics at least half an hour before I plan on going to bed, then I sit and read a book until I fall asleep. Helps your brain calm down and go to sleep fast.

 

Also DON'T (NEVER, EVER) use Nyquil as a way to fall asleep. That stuff is supposed to be used in small doses for Cold/Sinus/Cough symptoms and also makes you drowsy as a result. Get prescription sleeping meds from your doctor if you really do have an insomnia problem and this happens regularly. The Nyquil will put you to sleep, but the other drugs in it will basically wreck your body if you use it all the time just for sleeping. Better to not get sleep at all than to let Nyquil destroy your system.

i had every thing off for about a hour before i started typing then i started getting sleepy, i dont know why but is i watch youtube/netflix i start to get tired but cant sleep
